GUIDELINES FOR LANGAR

  • Please keep your head covered all the time while preparing the holy langar.
  • Please keep shoes removed in the kitchen.
  • Whilst preparation due regard should be made to purity.
  • The sevadars (selfless workers) should utter Gurbani and refrain from speaking if possible.
  • The langar should be served on the floor with the sangat sitting cross legged.
  • It is advisable not to leave leftovers.
