Announcements:
- Japjee Saheb
translation is shared at SGNC every Sunday at 12:50PM. Sangat is encouraged
to listen so that we can all learn the meanings of GurBaanee
- A discussion
group of mostly elder Sangat members meets after Langar each Sunday
to discuss GurBaanee topics. Adult members of our Sangat are encouraged
to join this discussion. Approximate time is 2:00PM and the duration
is about 30 min.
- Keertan &
Tabla Classes at SGNC
- Bhai Saheb
Amarjit Singh Ji and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Ji are now teaching organized
Keertan and Tabla Classes
- Please obtain
a registration form from Dr. Daljit Singh Caberwal if you would
like to enroll your child in these classes
- Class days
are Wednesday and Thursday
- Time of
classes is from 5pm to 7pm (one hour session for each child)
- Fee for
each one hour session per child is $10 to be paid in advance on
monthly basis
- Serving of Karah
Parshad
- Please note
that Karah Parshad is served to all Sangat present in the Hazoori
of Guru Granth Saheb Ji after Hukam
- Karah Parshad
will be served to those Sevadars who are working in the Kitchen
- If Sangat
leaves the Hazoori of Guru Saheb early and would like to receive
Karah Parshad, they may come upstairs to receive Parshad
- This announcement
reflects the protocol followed at all Sikh historical institutions
- The Donations
of Rumalay at Gurdwara Saheb
- If and when
Sangat wishes to donate Rumalay for Gurdwara Saheb, please consult
with Bhai Saheb Amarjit Singh Ji before purchasing them
- The size
of Rumalay used at SGNC is not standard; therefore, most are un
useable
- Gurdwara
Saheb has a surplus of extra Rumalay. Please, see Bhai Saheb if
you are interested in getting some for your home. There is no
cost.
- On the first
sunday of every month, Arvinder Singh and a few other members
will be offering TURBAN TYING classes starting at 12 noon in the langar
hall area
